The 3 Manx best Summits walk takes in the 3 of our Islands highest points.

Your challenge will start in Ramsey at sea level at 8am.

You will follow a steep but steady climb to the summit of North Barrule – your first summit of the day.

North Barrule stands at a juicy 1,854 ft and you will be treated to fine views of the Coranny valley, Maughold and back towards the Northern plain. Your qualified walking guides Gary and Kate will then lead you over the distinct North Barrule ridge moving onto your next summit of the day – Snaefell mountain (the Island highest point). Snaefell mountain at 2,034 feet above sea level is our only mountain on the Island and on a clear day, offers spectacular 360 views.

The final summit of the day is a local favourite, Beinn-y-Phott, colloquially called Penny Pot.

For your final part of the walk you will be descending to the disused Snaefell Mines. A pleasant track then takes you through the valley running parallel with the Snaefell Mountain Railway as you descend into the charming village of Laxey.

Once safely back on flat ground, you can kick off your boots and sooth your aching feet by the toasty fire where we’ll celebrate with a hot cuppa or a beer.

This is a hugely rewarding walk that you will take on as team. It will be steady (not fast paced), with plenty of stops.
