Kick off the festive season with us on a Guided Walk around Laxey village, Agneash, The Laxey wheel, including a pit stop in each of the 4 pubs in Laxey for a festive tipple or a hot drink.
This walk has all the ingredients for your perfect pre-Christmas walking event that will leave you feeling truly in the festive spirit.
The walk will take in magnificent views of Snaefell and the surrounding hills, the historic Great Laxey Wheel, the Viking King Orry’s grave and the charming village of Laxey all combined in one circular beautiful walk.
Situated on the east coast of the Isle of Man, the village boasts the picturesque Glen Mooar Valley to the unspoilt tiny harbour at the North end of a wide bay known as ‘Old Laxey’. Minke Whales may be spotted from the bay during autumn and winter months. You may also catch sight of a Bottlenose Dolphin between October and March.
We’ll make a pit stop to all 4 pubs on route, ending at the Mines Tavern where we’ll be met with a roaring fire and a bowl of hotpot.
